Uvs Lake

3,350 km² at 759 m, the remnant of an ancient salt sea; 38 rivers flow in and about 245 bird species have been recorded. Part of the Uvs Nuur Basin World Heritage site. Ulaangom is 1,336–1,456 km by road, so most people fly.
